Friday, May 19th, marked the Chick-fil-A Foundation’s 3rd annual True Inspiration Awards. The awards are one of the ways the Foundation celebrates and champions organizations who are committed to developing our youth.
In the presence of Chick-fil-A staff, community members and leaders, 22 organizations were honored for their programs in the fields of Innovative Education, Youth Entrepreneurship or Emerging Leader Development. Their work impacts and can change the trajectory of the lives of young people, their families and their communities.
Every year we are inspired by the work these organizations are doing – and this year’s winners were no different. From an organization in California that provides mentoring and after-school programs to children living in dangerous communities, to a Colorado organization providing funding for children of fallen military and first responders, to a transitional housing program taking in homeless families and helping them become self-sufficient – this year’s winners are doing incredible work and it was our pleasure to honor them for their service.
Congratulations to all of the winners and thank you to everyone who attended! We also thank the Chick-fil-A Operators who nominated several of the organizations. Thank you for all your hard work in bettering our communities and helping our nation’s youth be all they were created to be.
