On December 9th, The Chick-fil-A People Department spent the day serving the Hollis Innovation Academy for a special service project. Members of the team packed duffle bags with food for children in first through fifth grade who are enrolled in the Hollis school lunch program. Each bag included food and books for the children to read. To make these gifts even more meaningful, the staff decided to share books that were special to them during their own childhoods, and included personalized notes that they left on the inside of the book covers. In addition to packing lunches and books, the team also donated Christmas trees to the families at Hollis.
It was certainly a special time for everyone involved!
